Hitting Class
Build a swing that holds up: stance, load, bat path, and a situational approach that grows with the player. Baseline testing on day one, re-tests every block so you can see the progress in numbers.
Legends Baseball & Softball Academy · El Paso, Texas
Legends is El Paso's home for structured baseball and softball development — ages 4–18, every skill level. No tryout pressure and no guesswork: every new player starts with a free evaluation, and we build the plan from there.
This is the same front door every Legends family walks through, whether your player is picking up a bat for the first time or chasing a college roster spot.
Send us one email with your player's name, age, and baseball or softball. We'll get you on the next evaluation day — no cost, no commitment.
Book by email →We measure where your player is today, place them at the right level, and sit down with you to map the next step — classes, lessons, or a team track.
What happens at an evaluation →Pick the membership that fits your family. Classes run twice a week in four-week blocks, with simple at-home homework between sessions.
See memberships →About an hour, station to station, with our coaches. Your player leaves with a scorecard and a written next step — and you leave knowing exactly where they stand. Bring a glove and athletic shoes; we provide everything else.
Tap an age group and we'll show you where most Legends players start — and what training looks like at that stage.
Real baseball and softball begins here: a proper swing, a repeatable throw, and learning to field and run the bases the right way — before bad habits set in.
One class program, twice a week. Add a second program later as they fall in love with it.
Start with the free evaluationFour class programs make up the Legends system. Memberships bundle them; everything runs on a two-sessions-a-week rhythm with weekly at-home homework.

Mechanics first, velocity second, arm health always. Separate baseball and softball tracks with workload limits, arm-care routines, and a clear plan for adding pitches at the right age.
Speed, strength, and movement quality — the athletic base under every skill. Alternating speed and strength days, scaled for youth and high school athletes, with baseline and re-test scores each block.
Infield, outfield, catching, and throwing — footwork, glove work, and the game IQ to be in the right spot before the pitch. Counts as a class program in every membership.
The easiest first visit: one rotating skill focus every Saturday, open to non-members. Come up to three times before joining.
One-on-one work with a Legends coach. New families start with the intro special: two lessons for $75.
Four-day school-break camps on our Evaluate → Build → Compete model: baseline testing, station training, and game-speed competition to finish.
Bring the whole roster: two 90-minute team sessions a week inside the Legends system, for teams up to 14 players.
The winter build: a structured block for players who want to come back in spring noticeably better.
Memberships bill every four weeks — 13 blocks a year. Every tier starts the same way: with the free evaluation, so your player lands in the right program from day one.

We wrote The State of Youth Baseball & Softball for parents who are deciding how — and how much — to invest in their player's development. It covers where the game is growing, what parents say they actually want from a program, the honest odds of playing in college, and what the research says about burnout and early specialization.
It's free, it's sourced, and there's a full Spanish edition. Ask for it and we'll send it over.

Everything a new Legends family reads in the first week — our parent handbooks and the pathway your player will climb.
Program philosophy, what to expect each season, equipment, safety, and how we report progress — one handbook per level, in English and Spanish. Ask at your evaluation or request a copy by email.
One development road from first tee to college recruiting: five levels, each with its own skills, fitness, and mindset benchmarks — and a scorecard that shows your player exactly what "ready for the next level" means.
None at all. The free evaluation exists precisely so we can meet your player where they are — brand-new, rec-league, or travel-ball — and place them at the level where they'll actually improve. Most of our youngest players have never worn a glove before their first visit.
Both, at every level. Pitching runs separate baseball and softball tracks (the mechanics are different sports, and we coach them that way), and softball players train through the same hitting, defensive, and performance system.
Every class program meets twice a week. We built the schedule that way on purpose: two quality sessions plus a short at-home homework plan beats a calendar your family can't sustain. Memberships run in four-week blocks.
Start with the free evaluation — it costs nothing and there's no obligation. If you'd rather watch your player in a group setting first, the Saturday Skills Lab is $30 a session and open to non-members up to three visits.
Yes — 25% off each additional child's membership, applied to the lower-priced plan. Lessons have their own sibling rate too ($80). Mention both players when you book the evaluation and we'll price it out for you in one conversation.
You'll see it in writing. Players are baseline-tested when they start and re-tested every block, and you get a progress report each block — the same numbers we coach from, explained in plain language.
One email gets your family on the next evaluation day. We'll take it from there — scorecard, placement, and a plan you can actually follow.
